Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements
• Participate in the month-end closing process
• Produce monthly, half-yearly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports
• Participate in head office monthly reporting using Hyperion Financial Management
• Handle interco billing and reconciliation between local and parent company tools
• Participate in the preparation of half-yearly and annual audit documents
• Handle special projects as required

Requirements

• Degree or certificate in accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts
• Practical experience with large-scale financial systems (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in a multi-company environment
• Fluent in French
• Ability to work with international parties and remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM)
