Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records in compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and client billing/collections
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure operational liquidity
• Maintain escrow accounts in compliance with real estate regulatory requirements
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE tax laws
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
• Manage accounting for rental income, lease agreements, service charges, and project costs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property development
• ACCA or CA professional background
• 3 years of experience working in an Audit (CA) firm
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards
• Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
