Accountant

Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions
• Prepare daily cash reporting and manage cash-related systems such as Kyriba
• Prepare monthly and quarterly flux and variance explanations
• Prepare treasury-related quarterly disclosures regarding cash, investments, and debt
• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls under SOX and accounting procedures to ensure GAAP compliance
• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries regarding AR, AP, Tax, and Equity related bank transactions
• Assist with audits and respond to information requests
• Support the automation of accounting and reporting processes and assist with special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 0-2+ years of experience in corporate accounting
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, and nested formulas)
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
