Accountant

Responsibilities

• Monitor and execute a wide range of project accounting tasks
• Oversee daily accounting operations
• Perform accounting entries and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Verify the accuracy of documents based on contracts and orders
• Collaborate with HR on payroll and personnel monitoring
• Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts and customer/supplier subsystems
• Prepare payment lists and participate in financial reporting
• Communicate with the Central Accounting Department and external entities
• Ensure implementation of internal accounting procedures and adherence to deadlines

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or Accounting
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in an organized accounting office or Category C bookkeeping
• Good knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Good knowledge of Tax Legislation
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate studies or relevant professional titles
• Knowledge of SAP ERP
