Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including invoices, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry while supporting monthly closing processes
• Oversee compliance with AADE myDATA e-books and manage electronic bookkeeping submissions
• Support internal and external financial and tax audits with accurate documentation and coordination
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with statutory and tax requirements
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and continuous process improvements within the finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a multinational company or accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of Greek GAAP and local tax legislation
• Hands-on experience with AADE myDATA platform and electronic bookkeeping processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• High attention to detail, strong sense of accountability, and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP
