Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Prepare and present accounting reports and financial results to management to support month-end close
• Assist with statutory reporting, VAT, and regulatory compliance for the UAE entity
• Collaborate with local finance personnel and stakeholders to ensure effective financial operations
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and control within the finance function
• Utilize Xero and Salesforce to streamline workflows and maintain data integrity

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance and day-to-day accounting operations
• Proven experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Proficiency in Xero and Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a commitment to accuracy
• Experience with VAT compliance and regulatory requirements in the UAE
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a UAE-based organization
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements within finance operations
• Technical mindset with a comfort level adopting new digital tools and technologies
