Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards
• Manage financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts and bank statements
• Handle tax filings and regulatory compliance
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting
• Proficient in Business French
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vdolphin accounting software
• Previous experience working in Africa
