Accountant

Responsibilities

• Calculate and account for wages, preparing payslips and bank payments
• Prepare and submit reports to VID EDS
• Verify and process working time records
• Book payments and account for bank operations
• Prepare and submit statistical reports
• Manage credit card accounting
• Issue invoices
• Manage and control accounts receivable contracts
• Account for deposits, inventory, and representation expenses
• Collaborate with other company departments to resolve daily issues
• Provide professional support for financial processes to management and colleagues
• Use Scala, EMMA, Excel, and other specialized software

Requirements

• Previous experience as an accountant, specifically in payroll and tax calculation/reporting
• Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics
• High sense of responsibility, independence, and precision
• Strong computer skills; experience with Scala/Emma is a plus
• Fluency in Latvian and English (for correspondence)
