Accountant R2R Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day General Ledger maintenance to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions
• Perform timely reconciliations for all GL accounts and identify/clear reconciling items
• Execute intercompany reconciliations and take necessary steps to resolve differences
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and internal controls
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams (O2C and P2P) to resolve GL issues
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve data integrity

Requirements

• CA qualified
• 3 years of professional accounting experience
• Proven experience in Record to Report (R2R) operations within a captive or outsourcing environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of exposure to SAP
• Experience with Power BI dashboards
• Proficiency with Power Query for data cleaning, transformation, and preparation
• Knowledge of Quality Lean or Process Improvement methodologies
