Accountant-R2R

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operations within the R2R GL Accounting area according to established SLAs.
• Prepare journal entries using Excel templates and upload them via the Cadency tool.
• Perform account reconciliations and extract reports using SAP T-codes (e.g., FB03, FB02, FBL3n).
• Manage specific accounting functions such as Fixed Assets, Payroll, Cash, Intercompany, Revenue, or OPEX.
• Ensure all tasks are completed with 100% accuracy and within defined due dates.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including AR and AP departments, to resolve queries.
• Participate in peer-to-peer reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (e.g., B.COM, M.COM, MBA).
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SAP (specifically T-codes for journal entries and reporting).
• Advanced Excel skills, including Vlookup and Hlookup.
• Fluency in both written and oral English.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Shared Service Center (SSC).
• Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and machine learning applications in accounting.
• Experience in running and developing new accounting processes.
