Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage and record all day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales and purchase invoices.
• Monitor daily cash flow and maintain updated cash position reports.
• Handle supplier and customer reconciliations and oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including provisions, prepayments, and depreciation.
• Conduct bank, credit card, and payment gateway reconciliations in compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and support management with financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate VAT filings and compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Support external audits and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems (experience with Oracle Fusion is an advantage).
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA.
