Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly cost forecasting processes and deliver actionable insights to senior management
• Own intercompany reporting and reconciliations across multiple entities and foreign currencies
• Act as a key contact for external audits, coordinating deliverables and ensuring a smooth process
• Drive costing elements of the annual budgeting process through cross-functional collaboration
• Manage and optimize the passthrough invoicing process for accuracy and timely billing
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, including UK GAAP and US GAAP
• Deliver month-end close outputs, including management accounts and reporting to corporate finance
• Complete complex general ledger reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Manage import documentation and HMRC compliance, including IPR-related imports
• Oversee company expense processes and support stock reconciliation activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Degree in a financial discipline
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, charts, and complex formulae
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior management
• High attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to continuous improvement
