Accountant - Payroll & Multi-Company Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end large-scale payroll processing for high-volume employee groups in compliance with UAE regulations and WPS
• Oversee accounting operations for multiple companies, including the preparation of consolidated and standalone financial statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across multiple accounts
• Record and reconcile intercompany balances, transactions, and cost allocations
• Manage client invoicing, vendor billing, and accounts payable/receivable processes
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–8+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in multi-company environments
• Proven expertise in large-scale payroll processing operations
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, or manpower supply industries
• Experience managing high-volume payroll for 200+ employees
• Background in handling both payroll processing and client invoicing simultaneously
