Accountant P2P (Intercompany)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, act as a primary point of contact, and conduct regular statement reconciliations.
• Oversee timely and accurate payment processing to optimize cash flow and capture early payment discounts.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company financial policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounts payable function to enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounts payable staff.
• Generate and analyze AP reports to provide insights into financial trends.
• Maintain basic knowledge and application of netting, IDPMS, and EDPMS.

Requirements

• 6 to 12 years of professional experience in accounts payable (P2P function).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana or similar AP software (e.g., MAPICS, SARA, Basware).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interacting with international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing setup.
• Exposure to working in a Shared Services Centre (SSC).
