Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including payments, receivables, commissions, and expenses
• Prepare and send invoices to clients and track payments
• Record, categorize, and report operational expenses monthly
• Assist in processing freelancer and employee salaries and payments
• Prepare basic reports for VAT declarations and assist external auditors
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure transactions match the accounting system
• Suggest improvements to accounting practices and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance position
• Solid understanding of Lebanese accounting standards and basic taxation (VAT)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Formulas)
• Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books or QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
