Accountant

Responsibilities

• Independent processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Checking, posting, and recording ongoing business transactions
• Monitoring and reconciling open items and resolving discrepancies
• Managing payment transactions and dunning processes
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Supporting the development of internal processes
• Creating evaluations and reports
• Collaborating with tax advisors and auditors
• Supporting tax filings such as VAT advance notifications

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or qualification as a financial/balance sheet accountant
• Several years of experience in financial accounting within a manufacturing company
• Profound knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Proficiency in SAP-ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Understanding of complex value creation processes
• Structured, independent, and precise way of working
• Teamwork skills and strong numerical understanding
• Profound knowledge of accounting according to HGB
