Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping within the ERP system for assigned companies
• Oversee the approval flow of all invoices through the procurement system
• Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure accuracy of accounts payable
• Monitor supplier costs, report variances, and execute payments according to Group schedules
• Build monthly cash planning and ensure adherence to the financial plan
• Prepare monthly VAT returns, quarterly reports, and statistical filings
• Maintain organized filing of all bills, bank statements, receipts, and agreements
• Propose and initiate improvements for ERP processes

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Native or near-native German language proficiency
• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant field
• Proven experience using ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Microsoft Business Central
