Accountant

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare internal and external financial reports
• Maintain and oversee the control of accounts and records, including disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income
• Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions and verify accuracy
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other accounting schedules
• Design, modify, and maintain accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions
• Adhere to and communicate accounting and auditing policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support month-end close processes and potentially assist with technical accounting for M&A activities

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proven financial reporting skills
