About the role
Responsibilities
- Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare internal and external financial reports
- Maintain and oversee the control of accounts and records, including disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income
- Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions and verify accuracy
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other accounting schedules
- Design, modify, and maintain accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions
- Adhere to and communicate accounting and auditing policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support month-end close processes and potentially assist with technical accounting for M&A activities
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proven financial reporting skills
