Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals, adjustments, and journal entries
• Perform reconciliations for various business operations and analyze data fluctuations
• Manage lease accounting activities and coordinate with landlords for store financial reporting
• Participate in annual audits and assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Provide support for accounts payable tasks and maintain organized accounting records
• Collaborate with business teams, global headquarters, and external accounting services

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role (experience with MNCs or CPA firms is a plus)
• Proficiency with Oracle and Coupa is an asset
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively with both local and remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress towards a professional accounting qualification such as HKICPA or ACCA
• Experience supporting multiple countries within the South East Asia region
