Accountant

Responsibilities

• Complete key month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, including reporting of debt and derivatives positions, valuation reviews, and effectiveness testing
• Create reports to support journal entries, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
• Administer interest rate and foreign exchange transactions, including payment confirmations and settlements
• Collaborate with banking partners to resolve discrepancies
• Support SOX compliance efforts related to derivative activities

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capability with the ability to operate independently
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with automation tools
• Previous experience in banking, treasury, or financial transactions
