Accountant IV

Responsibilities

• Prepare inter-company profit eliminations and other complex journal entries
• Maintain foreign exchange rate tables and perform monthly FX valuation processes
• Act as a liaison between Corporate Accounting and IGT subsidiaries
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and cash flow statements
• Manage corporate accounting projects and maintain the Chart of Accounts
• Provide documentation for financial and SOX audits and interact with auditors
• Assist with month-end close activities and prepare schedules for Q/K reporting
• Implement process improvements and update financial policies and procedures

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of professional accounting experience
• BS/BA degree in accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and ledger review
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets and database applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA certification
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with corporate consolidations
