Accountant I

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Assist in reviewing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments in coordination with AP
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring across multiple dental practice locations
• Review and maintain practice-level financial statements and support variance analysis
• Support the preparation of audit documentation and compliance reporting
• Assist with expense allocations across entities or practice locations
• Work closely with practice managers and operations teams to support financial reporting accuracy
• Maintain accounting files and records in compliance with internal controls and data privacy regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 1 year of general accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic financial principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic formulas)
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
