Accountant

Responsibilities

• Perform daily T+1 trading P&L reconciliations across various asset classes using automated tools, SQL queries, and Python scripts
• Handle accounting operations including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, fixed asset management, and journal entries
• Assist with China tax filings including CIT, VAT, and other regulatory filings
• Interact with internal regulatory reporting teams and external auditors for group and China statutory audits
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, PostTrade, and Product Control teams
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related discipline
• Recognized professional accounting qualification (CICPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent)
• 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international business
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
