Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage GL reporting and journal processing
• Maintain fixed assets register
• Liaise with AR/AP teams on month-end closing activities
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and monthly reporting
• Liaise with auditors and prepare audit schedules
• Develop and lead tax strategy in line with business objectives
• Ensure tax compliance by reviewing direct and indirect tax returns and provisions
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and solutions through stakeholder collaboration
• Provide guidance on accounting standards and tax-related matters
• Monitor tax policy developments and evaluate impacts
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end tax processes
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements through monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
• Review consolidated financial reports

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 years of experience in Financial Reporting
• Experience in a General Ledger Accountant role, ideally within Professional Services
• 3-5 years of total experience
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
