Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support outsourced payroll and employee benefits administration
- Track and reconcile financial transactions for retail activities and the annual cookie program
- Manage banking operations including check deposits and ACH uploads
- Ensure timely filing of monthly General Excise Tax (GET) and annual sales tax returns
- Reconcile credit card transactions and maintain the general ledger using Abila MIP Fund Accounting
- Assist with annual audit preparation and IRS Form 990 documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or 5–8 years of AR/AP experience)
- Two or more years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and formulas
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Current Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
- Experience with Salesforce
