Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with HGB and support IFRS reporting
• Ensure compliance with group-wide accounting guidelines and internal control systems (ICS)
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet items
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with auditors
• Assist in cash and working capital management, including monitoring receivables and cash flow processes
• Collaborate with controlling, purchasing, and shared services to optimize commercial processes and ERP/SAP workflows

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration (focus on Accounting/Finance) or a comparable commercial qualification with advanced training
• Multi-year professional experience in accounting within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of HGB accounting; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• Proficiency in SAP (FI) and advanced MS Excel skills
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style
• Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
