Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including expense reports, bill review, and cash/credit card reconciliations for multiple portfolio companies.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accrual tracking, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Update monthly forecast files with actuals and perform variance analysis between systems.
• Manage fixed assets and finance/operating leases, ensuring compliance with accounting guidance.
• Perform monthly administrative tasks such as payroll and benefits reconciliations and new-hire documentation support.
• Coordinate annual audits, statutory filings, debt compliance reporting, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Legal, HR, and Payroll to provide financial insights.
• Maintain and reconcile data across multiple systems including NetSuite, NSPB, Expensify, and Coupa.

Requirements

• CPA license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting or a high-growth tech/life sciences environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
