Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage and reconcile diverse accounts such as cash, investments, and bank statements with high accuracy
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support business outcomes
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning
• Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of UAE-based accounting experience
• Experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance (e.g., M.Com, CA Inter, or related field)
• Experience with industry-standard accounting software
