Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle for the Italian entity and oversee accounting for Albania and Tunisia
• Handle end-to-end Italian tax compliance including VAT, F24, and Intrastat
• Manage intercompany operations, transfer pricing, and monthly group reporting to German HQ
• Supervise external consultants including accountants, payroll providers, and auditors
• Lead and mentor a small finance team while driving process automation

Requirements

• 5–7 years of accounting experience in Italy, ideally in a scale-up or international group
• Strong mastery of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and tax compliance
• Professional fluency in English for daily communication with HQ

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transfer pricing documentation (Master/Local File)
• Knowledge of Albanian or French languages
• Experience in the renewable energy or utilities sector
