About the role
Responsibilities
- Process employee expense reports in accordance with corporate policies and documentation standards
- Audit expense submissions for policy compliance, completeness, and appropriate exception handling
- Manage expense and payment queues to meet turnaround time and aging targets across global regions
- Execute scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs for vendors and employees with a focus on accuracy
- Validate payment proposals, including invoice selection, banking details, and supporting data
- Resolve payment exceptions, failures, and discrepancies through investigation and corrective actions
- Maintain documentation and evidence to support SOX controls, audits, and period-end activities
Requirements
- B.Com, B.Com (Hons), M.Com, or MBA from a reputed institution
- 6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Employee Expense (T&E), or invoice payment processing
- Experience with end-to-end T&E processes, including auditing and reimbursements
- Exposure to global or multi-region finance operations
- Knowledge of corporate policy requirements, compliance standards, and basic SOX controls
- Proficiency in Oracle or equivalent ERP financial systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and reconciliation
- Experience working in high-volume, SLA-driven processing environments
