About the Company

ECOM Kaffee GmbH is an internationally active trading company for high-quality green coffee based in Hamburg. Since 2014, we have supplied roasteries and industrial partners worldwide with green coffee from the best growing regions, focusing on quality, transparency, and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Processing and monitoring Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Checking and reconciling monthly inventory levels in close cooperation with warehouses
• Analyzing inventory discrepancies and clarifying differences
• Supporting the monthly closing process
• Assisting with accounting tasks such as invoice verification
• Preparing payment runs, account reconciliations, and collaborating with the tax office
• Managing credit card statements
• Independently handling special projects as directed by management

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on VAT
• Careful, structured, and independent working style
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Organizational talent, discretion, and ability to work in an international environment
• Team player and reliable

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish or French
