Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting, tax, compliance, and audit for the Coface Singapore Branch
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including general ledger and reconciliations
• Prepare cash forecasts and monitor actuals while liaising with banking partners
• Support financial planning and analysis, including budget processes and variance analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax firms for financial statements and tax filings
• Act as a level 1 control owner for internal audit, compliance, and risk management
• Provide guidance and review work for the Shared Service team in India
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement and simplification

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit
• Proven experience managing full-spectrum accounting in a multinational corporation (MNC)
• Experience working with offshore or overseas Shared Service teams
• Professional certification required (CPA Australia, ACCA, or CA Singapore)
