Accountant

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for APAC regions across monthly and bi-weekly cycles.
• Validate all payroll inputs including hires, exits, variable pay, benefits, and equity (RSU/ESPP).
• Review payroll outputs and variance reports to ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with ADP and local payroll vendors for timely and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, social security regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee and validate statutory filings and payments within defined timelines.
• Prepare, review, and post payroll-related journal entries, including salary, accruals, and reversals.
• Perform reconciliations for payroll liabilities, taxes, benefits, and stock compensation.
• Support month-end close, audits, and internal controls (SOX).

Requirements

• CA Intermediate (CA Inter), MCom, or MBA in Finance.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Payroll software, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll processes, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and GL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SOX controls and audit processes.
• Experience with global payroll systems.
• Experience with payroll tax filings.
