Accountant (AR and AP Specialist)

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and overdue accounts
• Follow up on payments via email, phone calls, and statements
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Apply incoming payments to correct accounts and invoices
• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts (3-way matching)
• Prepare and process payments including checks and bank transfers
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements
• Assist in month-end closing, accruals, and reporting
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation
• Coordinate with bank representatives to maintain corporate bank accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in AR, AP, or General Accounting
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Experience in vendor management and customer collections
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment
• CPA license
• Knowledge of tax compliance
