Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounts payable activity, including invoice entry, payment preparation, and data validation
• Manage payment schedules including ACH, wire, and check payments
• Prepare, review, and distribute customer invoices and manage collections activity
• Perform weekly AR reconciliations and support cleanup of historical transactions
• Own assigned month-end close activities including account reconciliations, accruals, and prepaids
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Identify opportunities to streamline AR/AP, close, and reconciliation processes
• Support audit preparation and maintain compliance with GAAP

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in AP or AR
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP
• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual due to ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting month-end close
• CPA candidacy or intent to pursue CPA certification
