Accountant - Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong and positive relationships with customers in multiple countries
• Reconcile and post customer payments by completing daily bank reconciliations
• Answer customer questions regarding invoice status and statement requests
• Research unidentified cash receipts and coordinate with Account Managers
• Assist with monthly and bi-monthly customer billing and prepayment invoicing
• Perform accounts receivable reconciliations to align subledgers with general ledgers
• Process foreign currency payments via journal entry
• Assist with customer account closures and refunds
• Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with annual audits and month-end close reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
