Accountant (Accounts Payable)

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of daily accounting transactions to ensure validity, accuracy, and complete supporting documentation
• Implement and maintain internal controls over accounting processes to ensure the reliability of financial statements
• Utilize accounting systems and tools including Ariba, Oracle Fusion, and Certify
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reports required for month-end closing activities
• Process payments for approved invoices in coordination with the Treasury team
• Manage fixed assets transactions and review accounting entries impacting prepayments, leases, and intercompany accounts
• Support internal and external audit requirements through organized record-keeping and documentation
• Collaborate on process improvements, workflow documentation, and efficiency projects

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university
• Minimum of 5 years of combined work experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or audit
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Skilled in using accounting software and applications
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience in multinational operations
• Proficiency with Oracle, SAP Ariba, or automated expense management tools
• Project management skills including planning, risk management, and problem-solving
