Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and yearly closings
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash
• Reconcile sub-accounts and ensure proper documentation
• Maintain accurate records of all financial documents
• Handle VAT and other tax filings as per Lebanese regulations
• Provide administrative support to the finance department
• Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information
• Prepare financial reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of Lebanese accounting and tax regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and time management skills
