Accountant 1

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate recording and classification
• Verify invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business operations
• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance related to accounts payable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 0-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
