Account Trainee (Marketing and Communications Assistant) (Events)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Event Director with day-to-day preparation and execution of the SAS Championship
• Support the Corporate and Community Partnerships department with partnership fulfillment
• Manage the tracking, accounting, and distribution of tickets to partners
• Research market and target demographics to support marketing and sales plans
• Track the performance of tournament marketing and communication activities
• Assist with grassroots marketing efforts and special projects
• Maximize engagement within the tournament’s admission and vendor expo areas
• Support engagement with local media personalities and assist with Media Day execution
• Assist with the design and updating of the SAS Championship website

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Experience with content creation (e.g., video, graphic, or written content)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a team setting
• Willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Social Media, WordPress, HTML, Photoshop, or Adobe InDesign
• A passion for sports, entertainment, gaming, music, or lifestyle culture
