About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive accommodation volume growth across Despegar's product catalog in various countries
- Utilize AI as a primary tool to optimize and automate operational and commercial processes
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with Dev and Product teams for implementation
- Seek out accommodation systems and consolidators to drive large-scale volume growth
- Analyze competitor information to generate initiatives that improve Despegar's value proposition
- Organize travel itineraries to relevant destinations
Requirements
- University degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Proven experience in consultative sales, business development, and client hunting/prospecting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI Agents to support commercial management and productivity
- Intermediate English language skills
- Availability to work in a hybrid model from Mexico City or Cancun
