Account Representative I

Responsibilities

• Build and expand a business portfolio by converting competitor clients and growing assigned medium accounts into large accounts
• Increase revenue and profitability through new business generation and continuous development of existing accounts
• Generate new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and market research
• Maintain regular in-person interaction with customers to foster strong relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Prepare customized quotes by understanding complex customer requirements
• Deliver effective sales presentations and ensure technical requirements are met
• Assist in resolving technical problems at customer facilities
• Collaborate with vendor resources to support sales efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (intermediate/advanced level with ability to handle technical conversations)
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of industrial products such as power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and manage multiple tasks effectively
