Account Payable/Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Process, record, and reconcile financial transactions including accounts payable, cash disbursements, billings, and cash receipts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including the supervision of collections
• Review fixed assets, sales and use taxes, personal property taxes, and franchise taxes
• Prepare day-to-day and month-end close entries, including payroll administration, fringe, investment, and grant allocations
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of accounting operations and software packages for each assigned client
• Build and manage strong relationships with client leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years of professional accounting or finance experience
• Proven experience with financial transaction reconciliation
• Strong ability to support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

• Experience working in an entrepreneurial or client-facing service environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting that requires high attention to detail
