About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales objectives for Tavneos.
  • Promote Tavneos within approved labeling in a fair, balanced, and ethical manner following compliance guidelines.
  • Serve as a disease expert to healthcare professionals, delivering patient-centered education on disease states and product information.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders including physicians, nurses, infusion centers, and case managers.
  • Identify and address patient access, reimbursement, and pull-through challenges by working with cross-functional field access teams.
  • Coordinate internal matrix teams, such as MSLs and Market Access, to deliver integrated account-specific solutions.
  • Establish productive relationships with local and regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to expand therapeutic reach.
  • Provide field insights and market intelligence to leadership to inform future strategy and resource deployment.

Requirements

  • For Account Manager: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device or hospital sales experience; OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience; OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of experience.
  • For Specialty Account Manager: Doctorate and 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master's and 6 years of experience; OR Bachelor's and 8 years of experience; OR Associate degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, including occasional overnight or weekend travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in reimbursement navigation, site of care education, or patient access coordination.
  • Prior experience working in or with Rheumatology and Nephrology.
  • Familiarity with infused therapies, buy-and-bill products, or products under medical benefit.
  • Experience engaging with administrators in community practices, academic centers, or IDNs.
  • Strong knowledge of payer policies, reimbursement processes, and managed markets.
