About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet overall sales objectives and quotas for key growth products through demand generation within the assigned geography.
- Successfully launch new products and service offerings while generating new equipment leads.
- Utilize solution selling capabilities to build effective relationships with targeted hospitals and veterinary personnel.
- Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan and resource allocation strategy to maximize ROI.
- Manage field activity expectations, including sales call frequency and participation in medical education programs.
- Maintain professional standards regarding integrity, compliance, and effective communication with all colleagues.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
- 3-10 years of documented and successful consultative sales experience.
- Knowledge of Animal Health or small animal veterinary medicine.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability and willingness to travel and work some evenings as required by the position.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter while contributing to a team environment.
