Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of annual business plans for Target and Best Buy
• Manage item setup, maintenance, and lifecycle activities within partner systems
• Monitor weekly POS, retail inventory, and replenishment in collaboration with supply chain teams
• Track business performance across both in-store and online channels
• Build and maintain working relationships with Buying, Planning, and Merchant teams
• Execute promotional calendars, including price reductions, weekly ads, and holiday programs
• Partner with Marketing and eCommerce teams to optimize digital content and search performance
• Perform POS analysis and develop insights for pricing, distribution, and assortment
• Coordinate logistics and resolve operational issues such as chargebacks and OTIF requirements

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Category roles within retail or manufacturing
• Strong analytical, financial, and forecasting skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience managing digital retail content and online merchandising
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• High level of organization and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience working with Target or Best Buy
• Familiarity with Target systems (Partners Online, Target DPC) or Best Buy systems (VendorIQ, Beehive)
• Experience in Consumer Electronics, Housewares, or CPG industries
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
