About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and profit objectives by driving strategic review sessions with direct and indirect teams
- Manage customer expectations for New Product Introductions (NPI) to ensure samples and verification activities are delivered on time
- Identify and develop a network of key contacts within customer organizations, including Engineering, R&D, Project Management, and Procurement
- Gather industry and competitor intelligence to collaborate with Business Units on new product development
- Utilize value-selling skills to solve customer problems with new connector solutions
- Communicate effectively and timely with both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- 5+ years of relevant sales and engineering experience within the connector industry or at an automotive tier supplier
- Strong understanding of vehicle connection systems and architecture
- Knowledge of SDV/SOA/Zonal architecture, in-vehicle high-speed connections, and related TSN/SI/EMC theory
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers as a sales, product/design, or resident engineer
