Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a book of business by building strong client relationships and driving retention
• Drive revenue by selling environmental waste management and disposal services
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and prospecting
• Lead the sales process from qualification through proposal development using consultative techniques
• Support client compliance needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Ensure smooth financial operations by securing purchase orders and assisting with collections
• Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity
• Support service recovery efforts and resolve client issues
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience through engagement and client entertainment
• Travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to meet with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years of experience in environmental services, facilities management, or related industry
• Prior sales experience
• Proven track record of selling to healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or industrial sectors
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Triumvirate Environmental
• Formal sales training (e.g., Sandler methodology)
