About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Promote TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines.
  • Drive product demand through education on disease states and product information.
  • Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement issues by coordinating with key stakeholders and matrix team members.
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer needs and goals.
  • Coordinate between accounts and relevant Amgen field teams to support a full range of account needs.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on site of care options.
  • Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Buy-and-bill experience with documented success.
  • Experience with biologics or infusion products.
  • Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, or rare/specialty disease states.
  • Experience with site of care, reimbursement, institutions, or integrated delivery networks.
