About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines.
- Drive product demand through education on disease states and product information.
- Manage territory accounts by addressing issues related to access, pull-through, and reimbursement.
- Coordinate with patient services, market access, and other internal field teams to address account needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating customer goals.
- Provide timely feedback to leadership regarding market changes and territory results.
- Manage efforts within assigned promotional and operational budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience; OR Associate degree and 6 years of relevant experience; OR High school diploma and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% within the territory, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with "buy-and-bill" models and/or biologics/infusion products.
- Sales experience in Ophthalmology or rare/specialty disease states.
- Experience with site of care, reimbursement, and working with integrated delivery networks or institutions.
- Proven ability to coordinate across matrixed field teams.
